I routinley practice long distance head shots with my EDC. I find it pretty difficult to hit consistantly over 50 ft without a rest with a small handgun. Having never been in a situation , that I was trying to make that shot for real, I am sure it would be extremely difficult under stress.

I can however drop a 8 inch howitzer projectile in a pick up truck at 10 miles. Unfortunately they didn't let me take one home.

One of the other things they conveniently forgot to mention about the video is that on most college campuses it's illegal to carry a firearm and the attacker and the student couldn't have been in possession of a firearm.

I think in the case of the Texas shooting, if you had been coming out of the bathroom (which are sometimes located to the right of the entrance door) and you had a weapon, the shooter was busy looking ahead while firing and you could have easily plugged him in the back if you had been armed. Heck, in this case he had ear protection on, so chances are he wouldn't had even heard you pull the slide back to put one in the chamber (if one wasn't already there).

The shooter in the San Diego synagogue dropped his rifle and ran because a military vet charged at him screaming "I'm going to kill you!"
This gave someone else a chance to pursue the shooter and return fire with a handgun, and the shooter continued to flee even with a second rifle in his car.
There have been several other incidents where shooters with rifles were deterred or stopped by people with handguns.
Yes. Those cops in Dayton charged right at the shooter armed only with their handguns - and they put that sucker down and for good!

Remember, most of these Pussies are anticipating ANY resistance at all.
If one, or two or more of their "victims" "stand and deliver" they'll surrender or KILL THEMSELVES, hopefully the latter.
The killer fears no Law...they Must be taught to fear their "victims".
Hopefully, someone will get a shot before the Coward "drops his weapon.
Officer, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!!!

Can your friend give me the winning numbers for next weeks lottery?
How about who will win the 2021 Super Bowel , so I can place my bets early?
Ok , can he give me the names of the top winners in next weeks horse races?
    NO!?
Well then , I think your friend is the delusional one.
Thinks he can predict the future and yet obviously he can't.

If I have a gun, there's a *chance* I'll be able to deploy it, assuming I'm unable to simply flee.

With no gun, I'm absolutely certain I won't be able to deploy it.

I don't mean to lessen or doubt the cops heroics but buried in one report it said some guy at the entrance to the bar grabbed the rifle barrel. It is unclear but I think he took it away leaving the shooter with just a pistol. Whether he got a chance to use the pistol is also unclear. With only 30 seconds till the cops got there I doubt it.

And we still need to hear what kind on "body armor" he was wearing.

But whatever happened I am glad that psycho got put down quickly. It could have been much worse.
