The events that are about to happen in this country when it comes to who is President and who gets to own guns is entirely out of the hands of the gun lobby altogether no matter which one or all of them together. Gun owners at this point have proved to the controlling interests they will no longer stand for freedom and now cower or are indifferent. Their mass shootings have worked to the point people are confused and are afraid to do anything or more importantly say anything. I've done my level best to keep the wolves at bay for the past 40 years but it appears that all the time and money spent is for naught because too many ignored the need to fix the education system, understand the political system, come out to vote, join a gun lobbying group, show up for gun rallies, and the list goes on for the things that needed to be done to protect freedom. It's too late folks, the dam has got a crack and it's about to give way. Standby for incoming from all sides. Thanks for those of you that have been there too over the years and to those gun owners that have ignored the calls, fuck you.

Good point. Too many fat, self-indulgent metrosexuals own guns and create some fantasy world in which they won't vote for anyone unless John Moses Browning comes back from the dead.

They brag about their political purity, how they won't cast a vote for anyone who supports the concept of Red Flag laws, or background checks, or anything except selling MG's in Walmart with no questions asked.

So they do the work of the Progressives and Socialists, by discouraging the votes of patriots and letting the greedy and the power-hungry win offices. Instead of voting for the "80% on our side" guy, they let the 100% anti-gunner win. Smart move, fellas.

Does anyone really believe that a pudgy egomaniac who can't get off his ass to vote once every 2 or 4 years, is going to quit his job and go to the mattresses when the confiscations start? Do you picture them squatting in foxholes off I-78, waiting to shoot up a UN armored convoy?

Nope. After they help elect all the gun-grabbers, these whiny bitches will obediently turn in their guns and scurry back to their keyboards to blame the NRA, which casts zero votes as a corporate entity.

If you value liberty, then provide actual help, or get out of the way.

In what universe is voting for someone who advocates for red flag laws "providing actual help"? Red flag laws are even worse than an assault weapons ban. At least with an AWB you can know how to stay on the right side of the law; with RFLs you have no protection from being randomly searched and having your property taken away on somebody's whim for an indefinite period of time. These would be the absolute end of gun rights in this country, period. So no, I'm not going to send $35 to an organization that promotes them and I'm not voting for a politician who promotes them. And if you're going to condemn me as "self indulgent" for that then you can go to hell.

Count me in your boat please.

I've voted pro gun. Given my hard earned money to the NRA , taken newbies shooting, argued passionately with antis and leftists. So don't blame me, blame the rinos and rich executives who do nothing but beg for votes and money year after year while doing nothing to protect my rights and often working against my rights.
If the NRA is the best that we have, then we have been doomed since '68 at least.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.

Political power grows from the muzzle of a gun.
