    Default Palmetto

Anyone have any thoughts on these? Palmetto taking pre-orders. I have never had any issues with any of my Palmetto uppers/lowers/etc.. I know they aren't top quality by any stretch but I have always thought them to be solid for the price. Considering one of these Russian Red ones' in 9mm or 7.62x39?

Palmetto is quality to me. Just not paying for a brand.

AK in 9 sounds heavy for caliber.

They do have a cool factor.

These look cool as hell and if I had the extra dough I'd snag one myself.
Hope they sell the braces separately down the road.

Yeah, if I do it, I'll probably go for the 7.62x39. Decisions, decisions. With everything going on, now may be the time to grab a few more AK's...……….and these definitely have the neat factor...……….

I am planning on it, but I never know my work schedule. Emergency service and all that.

I will say that I love it. Only have about 500 through it but zero malfunctions. This is with a variety if factory fmj and cast bullet reloads.

Yesterday I put about 300 mixed through it. I had a bucket of partial boxes of ammo. fmj, lead swc's, powder coated. different weights. I loaded mixed magazines and it ate everything.

It is amazingly light weight. I am totally thrilled with it.

I have the AKV-9 and it’s freaking awesome. I’ve had two other people shoot it and they ordered one that night. The G3 AK’s are solid from everything I have seen including 5000 round extended shooting tests. They have a lifetime no questions asked warranty and real freaking fast turn around time when it comes to repairs.

I’m thinking about one in x39 as well.
