Lego always puts a few extra small parts in their kits.

AR's only have a couple of roll pins, if you have one in the gas block, trigger guard, and bolt release you should be good to go.

I have assembled kits with extra pins and extra springs.
If you are worried about it you can watch a more detailed assembly video, there are some really good ones out there.
You could also go to a decent indoor range/shop or one of the Poofa smiths and ask them to look it over before testing it on the range.
