I don't understand that either. I recently sold my p365, and I did so quickly because I priced it right as a used gun that isn't without flaws. Buying and then selling guns is a good way to lose money, even if it's "BNIB." I understand why many don't sell guns once they have them. I personally don't like keeping guns around that I don't like or use but also recognize, again, that's that is a substantial loss.

I saw the post from the NuclearSociety in reference to Tanners.
Yes I have been there and their prices are very good.
I have purchased quite a few firearms from them when they have their specials.
I have never taken something there to sell figuring that if his prices are good I won't get even close what I thought my firearm was worth.
I did speak with them about placing an item on GunBroker.
    Never used the classifieds here.
Has anyone had any luck with it?
Is listing something like any other site?

I've made my share of purchases through BB classifieds, here and elsewhere. Go the the classified section and read the rules that are posted at the top, they are self explanatory.

I have both bought and sold on the classifieds on here with a modicum of success. You will get more for your guns, than selling to a dealer, it just takes more time. Spend some time looking at a few ads, and you can get an idea of what is involved. Do include pictures in the ad for the best results...

It will be helpful to know which FFLs you would prefer to use for handgun transfers and what they charge even though the buyer is usually paying, Good luck.

    I never sell, just buy.

Market conditions today do not work in your favor...better off keeping the gun and if you decide to sell in the future...sell it yourself, but do your homework first.

Most sellers over price their guns...period. They also don't list the specs properly and the images are shit. Marketing your gun to buyers is pretty straight forward, yet most don't take the time to put the effort into it. How many guns that you bought had a great description and the images were tastefully done and sharp? How many started with a price that might have been lower than the actual value? How many of you got hooked into buying something because you got into a bidding war?

If you want to sell something like a gun...make it look like its in great shape and write up a description that would appeal to you.

If you want a lesson in how not to sell a gun look at GB...over priced, shitty pics, awful customer service. There are good ones too...easy to spot. Look at how many sales they have...lots!

I’ve sold a couple of guns and had mostly good experiences. If you do decide to sell a gun in the classifieds make sure you read the links below. They have the rules and tips to help you out. If someone responds check to see if they have any feedback. It’s not really a problem imo if they don’t have feedback. But if they do you can get a feel for the person you are dealing with. If the feedback is bad you know to stay away.

I'm convinced the absolute best way to sell guns, as in more than a few or a collection, is through an auction. You can probably even consign your guns to an auction house that specializes in gun auctions if you only have one or two you want to get rid of. Holy crap, I shake my head and walk out of estate auction after estate auction not believing what these people bid most of these guns up to. Its freaking ridiculous. Used retail+ in a lot of cases. I still go because the peripheral supplies and stuff usually go real cheap, like cases, sometimes some good ammo deals can be found, etc. And I look for other stuff that is not gun related too, but the last 10 auctions I have gone to, there's no way I would pay what has been bid on nay of these guns, so if I gotta sell, auction it is.
