Doesn’t a governors pardon guarantee expungement in Pa?
I’m somewhat surprised. I’ve been scheduled for a court hearing in Philadelphia on my expungement application. I thought it was Pa law that a governors pardon means an expungement is just a formality. Somewhat surprised. Also, if I don’t show up for the motion hearing, a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Forty years later? For what? Now I have to travel all the way home from SC again. A bit surprised.

In Philly, a hearing is always scheduled for an expungement petition. An attorney, who knows the right people to contact can usually get it resolved without a hearing, although it is generally quasi-last minute
