Try this. Not sure if he is still in business. I poached this from another forum dated August 2018.

Let us know how you make out, Nat! I used one years ago in a Garand, bought from that vendor that advertiser in Shotgun News. Never ejected - used Loc-Tite to make sure it stayed put. What rifle are you thinking about adapting?

They are listed for honor color guard classes. They should be able to help you.

Don't waste your time and money. Just shoot 30.06 blanks.

The M1 Garand needed chamber reaming for the insert/filler as the 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Win) has the same head diameter , but less body taper. Bet ya 10:1 that a 7.62 blank won't allow the bolt to close in your unmodified chamber.

However , running standard USGI 7.62 blanks thru a FL sizing die with the decapping stem removed will work just fine in an M1. I've done it.

Abner...can you elaborate ? Im sure you meant "without " de capping pin? and are you using a 308 or 30-06 die ? i have a bunch of 762x51 blanks Id like to have some fun with , just for shits and giggles. Not sure if Id run them through my spanking new Criterion barrel though, good to know the process just in case
