Yeah, I know the video it has an introduction of like 3 minutes before he even starts talking about Leakin Park. I generally don't mind a short introduction on videos with some credits but some introductions are just time wasters for the viewer. this is probably the best one for a short description of what the park is all about.



I've watched them all and read all the sites about where the bodies are buried. I also study serial killers too all the way back to first recorded serial killers of Rome and the Chinese Han Dynasty. One of the more interesting serial killers was Giulia Tofana of the early 17th century. Tofana ran a group of women poisoners and is responsible for the murder of about 600 men. They used their makeup to poison men it was called Aqua Tofana. Tofana and her women gang specialized in helping women that were trapped in bad arranged marriages where the men were abusive or were in line to inherit large estates but wanted their husbands out of the way. Murder, greed and abuse is as old as mankind.

Based on what is known, Giulia Tofana was born in Palermo around 1620. She had a daughter, but whether she was married or not has not been determined. The use of toxins and poisons in the Middle Ages and Renaissance was very common and there were those who made their living as “professional poisoners”.
The most common poisons were cantarella, strychnine, hemlock, belladonna, foxglove, aqua tofana, and arsenic. Giulia Tofana’s marketing idea was to sell poison to unhappy wives. In those days, when marriage was pre-arranged and there was no possibility of divorce, there were plenty of women who wanted to get rid of their husbands.
