Default New to forum/New 43X owner

Hello all, I bought a Glock 43x a few weeks back and I think it's a nice 9mm sub compact. The silver slide wasn't my first choice but there are aftermarket black ones I've seen out there. I wish Glock would just send existing owners a free black slide. Look forward to meeting people here.

Congrats and welcome to the forum!
Checkout cerakote and duracoat and what those are all about. You can turn your slide and firearms arm any color or pattern you wish!

Welcome. I second thought of trying to refinish your existing slide before replacing it with an aftermarket, especially if you plan to carry it.

I'm sure theres some forum members here who could probably get you squared away with some quality work for a fair price. My advice is post in the lounge asking who does cerakote

Easton Firearms Refinishing does that type of work. They’re a member/user here.

Welcome ! I too thought of re-finishing the slides on my 43X and 48,cost was a factor in waiting as Glock now has Black Slides.Good question you posed was would Glock exchange your slide for a black on a minimal cost ? I was impressed with the new offerings of Black Slides too !
