The scumbag lawyer who filed the frivolous lawsuit on behalf of the parents should be disciplined to prevent other ambulance chasers from tying up courts with these BS lawsuits. The best way would be make him share the the costs of the defense with the criminal's parents.

    Welcome to poofa.
The only problem with your suggestion is that the legislators, judges, and counsel for both plaintiff and defendant are all..you guessed it..attorneys. no way the ptb are going to rein in their own.

This entire lawsuit could have been avoided if the company did not have a no weapons policy.

Exactly what I was going to say. These blanket no weapons policies are now coming back to bite the employers in the butt!

The delivery driver should be able to sue the parents for raising a POS

The thread title is grossly misleading.

The dead carjackers parents are suing the pizza company not the driver.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that some ambulance chaser contacted and convinced the perpetrators family to bring the suit assuming the company would just settle for some quick cash.
