Hoppe's #9 doesn't dissolve carbon very well

little long as he's using an ultrasonic cleaner too (which I am seriously considering after my last round of cleaning and lubing would save a ridiculous amount of time.)

Run a q tip down the channel liner after disassembly should be just fine it only gums up when it's not wiped down.
