    Default PA AG Shapiro Bait and Switch

    Under the cover of tracking guns used in crimes, Shapiro wants retailers to send all gun sale records in electronic form.

    "Shapiro also said his office wants retailers to submit gun-sale records electronically to get rid of a police backlog of paper records that are waiting to be entered into a database. That will allow law enforcement to more quickly trace guns used in crimes, Shapiro said."

    In essence he has admitted there is a database of firearms in PA. This is my shocked look .

    On the evening news he also stated he would be willing to "work with Mom and Pop guns shops to preserve their 2nd Amendment rights". Yeah, right.

    They never denied there was a database. Since the General Assembly hasn't gotten rid of the requirement of a recorded transfer and subsequent database, this is probably a good thing.
