It's sponsored by CBS (which is anti-gun ownership). Pennsylvania is ranked: 35th Tied with Missouri at 27.1% . Do you think this is accurate, or a snow job by CBS?

"Injury Prevention," a scholarly journal, has released what may be the closest look yet. Their survey, published in 2015, asked a representative sample of 4,000 adults nationwide whether they own firearms.
The findings helped the research group estimate gun ownership rates in each state.

A whopping 4,000 people were asked - yeah... sounds like very thorough research.

I don't give a shit enough to go research my self, but did they give a link to their source data? what's the distribution of those 4,000 sample people? is it even across states? or across population densities? I have questions...

Total BS. So by asking less than 10 people per state (assuming they even covered every state) they can come up with a number accurate to 0.1%? No poll that knows about statistics reports like that.

I had to click but stopped at the first page. Delaware last with only 5.2% ownership? This is too far off of the average to be valid and just shows how bogus this article is.

Many people, including myself, believe the fact I own guns, and how many I own is NOBODY'S business, so people often don't give accurate information, and either say they don't own any guns, or understate the number great. I don't believe any of these polls.
