M&P 9c should I do the apex trigger?
I need some feedback.
I have an M&P 9c but I hate the gritty trigger and how far back it brakes.
Do you guys think the apex forward set flat front trigger is too light for a carry gun?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Re: M&P 9c should I do the apex trigger?
I put an apex trigger on my carry gun and I have no complaints! I had the same issue with the stock trigger. My groups are so much tighter with the Apex.

I have a large box of the M&P series pistol.
Factory trigger on all of them.
Far from a trigger snob , I've owned/own worked/after markets triggered firearms.
But learned to shoot on double action wheelguns and some horrible surplus rifles.
it's a trigger , you can make it work

Re: M&P 9c should I do the apex trigger?
Given the resale value of a used 9c …. as compared to possible usefulness , I'd vote keep it and get your sig in addition.

Re: M&P 9c should I do the apex trigger?
I put an Alex trigger and spring kit in my SD9ve. I removed it an hour later. I hated the way the Apex trigger felt. It did shorten the take-up some, and possibly the pull weight, but the face of the trigger was super uncomfortable for me. It wasn't a flat trigger though. It also seemed a little inconsistant, like it would break at different times something. I can't think what would cause that though so it just may have been something I felt.
I put the stock trigger and springs back in. Before doing that I ran some very fine sandpaper across the trigger parts, which really smoothed out the grittyness, so now it's a rather long heavy pull but it's very consistent and smooth. The Hostler
