    Default Made a recent purchase, then got bored!!!

    Hey all, wanted to share with you my recent acquisition and then the modification.

    If Stippling floats your boat more power to you ! The good thing is those grips can be replaced if you wanted to sell it and buyer was not a fan of stippling ! The way you got the gun was a find in itself,congrats ! How did you go about the polish job ? that looks professional !

    Hogue grip , needed more aggressive grip so that's what I did.
    The grip was cheap I can always get another.
    Spent about 6 Plus hours sanding and polishing the slide. Came out pretty sweet. The price on Summit GunBroker was even more sweet.

    While I am not a fan of S&W but the stepling and the polishing makes it looks really cheap. To each it’s own, I guess.

    Probably a long shot but did anyone see what the serial number on this pistol was or have pictures of it or who posted it? It’s probably not but I had one of these stolen a few days before this post went up, if all anyone can verify is what kind of modifications this pistol had that might have been done to alter its appearance I would really appreciated it.

    The guy says he bought it from Summit Gun Broker, which comes up as being in Missouri
