Read that.
You're gaining 60-130 fps by going from 20" to 24" barrels. To me, that's not worth the extra length.
Also, BCA is pretty well known for being bottom of the barrel. If you're looking to build a precision gas gun, I would look elsewhere.I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

Re: 24 ar15s, any use for these?
I agree with the length differences being a waste 16 or 20 is where it matters. I have no experience with BCA and probably will never but Ive only seen good things recently when it comes to their accuracy in their barrels especially their big bore AR stuff. At $175 shipped its not a huge kick in the nuts if its not perfect. As shown in the video there are small nit picks but they are outside performance.

I agree with everything you said.
That being said, for $175, you're not far off from the low end of Top Tier manufacturers like LaRue and WOA. Hell, a Ballistic Advantage Mk 12 OPS profile barrel is exactly the same price shipped and comes with sub MOA guarantees.

ETA: Didn't realize $175 was for the entire upper. I still wouldn't buy it, personally. Gotta be chineseum at that price.I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

Re: 24 ar15s, any use for these?
A 24' barrel is very useful if the front sight is mounted at the FRONT end of the barrel (assuming iron sights). And not only is another 50-100 FPS available, more of the powder is consumed, maybe all, and a smaller SD is generated. Very useful at 1000 yards when shooting .223 in say the Leech match.
