Mosin 91/30

Classic Firearms is selling Mosin 91/30 for $220 right now. They are in NRA good condition. I'm not very familiar with the market anymore. Last time I was buying they were $ 120. Is this s good price now? Will i be able to find cheaper in the future perhaps, or should I buy a couple now at this price while i can?

For retail sales that is an okay price in today's market, Cabeles has random rifles some I would consider beat all around $300-$350.00 plus tax and tags. I can tell you now that Classic arms is notorious for over grading their rifles meaning their NRA Good was once what most others would consider poor or one step above gunsmith special. Basically X grade which would have been a $79-$89.00 dollar job back 3 to 4 years ago with reputable surplus dealers like AIM or if purchased directly from Century.

I take it your looking for a standard shooter?

My own experience with Classic wasn't so bad. I bought one of the Cz-50 pistols. Other than some finish wear and small chip on grip it is very nice.

However, buying from Classic overall is a crap shoot.
Read the feedback reviews from customers. Apparently their hand select is a complete waste of time. The staff there seem to simply pull the first gun from a pile and ship it. I don't have enough personal experience to say they grade higher than they should, but the feedback does indicate this may be true.
