Re: Open Carry Holster Suggestions
I prefer leather. Look at Galco Holsters. Once the leather holster is broke in it smoother than the plastic. The leather holster is silent compared to the rattle off a plastic holster.
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Re: Open Carry Holster Suggestions
I don't think the Serpa is a bad holster and I have a few because they were cheap. As long as you recognize it's not anywhere near a duty holster, it's not actually concealable, and most importantly you press on the release button with the pad of your finger and not the tip while practicing a proper trigger finger index while drawing.

Re: Open Carry Holster Suggestions
Well, ordered a 7378 but may have goofed. They only offered it for SR1911 5in model, but I have a commander, should be interesting if it works.
