I'm sure it's been covered, but it's all up to what you feel is important. My work has a "no weapons" policy but I doubt I'm the only one here who carries from time to time. My house is literally next door to work, yet I still bring along either a Glock 43 or a J frame. Something small like that disappears into the jeans I wear at work, nobody notices. Small guns are harder to shoot though, so if you're short on experience, shoot your tiny carry gun a LOT.

If your employer has a no firearms policy and you carry at work and it's discovered will your employer fire you? You have to make a decision on whether carrying a firearm at work is worth the risk of being fired or whether it's worth the risk of being disarmed when a disgruntled employee comes in to kill everyone that made him/her/they disgruntled.

My property, my rules...their property their rules. At least in PA it's not a crime if you get caught, as it is in some other states.

It would be trespassing if you got caught and there is a sign. Probably also if there is proof you knew the rules of the company and they stated no firearms.

PA is an at will state. So even if there are no rules against firearms or weapons you could still be fired. Someone on PAFOA just got fired for looking at guns on a company computer.

Unless you are working for a company that is specifically Pro-2A I would assume you would be fired if found carrying.

Legally I believe (baring working for the feds or another government agency) the most you might be looking at is a trespassing charge if caught. But I am not a lawyer.

As others have said you sound new. Congrats on getting your LTCF. Get some training both in shooting and in the legalities of using a firearm for defense (these type of courses are not as common though).

Please expound. I'm aware of limitations placed on "counties, municipalities, and townships" as well as "Commonwealth agencies". I don't believe school districts fall into any of those categories.

Since they do have the power to levy taxes, I do believe they should be considered quasi-government entities, and *should* be bound by preemption, but I'm not aware of any legal argument (successful or otherwise) that asserts they are covered by existing preemption limits.
