Default Best suppressor ammo for .22LR

I took my new Sparrow out today for the first time. Bought 5000 rounds of American Eagle suppressor ammo and 2 boxes (100 count) of Winchester Suppressor ammo. Both are CPRN and subsonic. I shot approx 200 rounds of the American Eagle ammo and the gun looked relatively clean. Once I switched to the Winchester however, I noticed the gun got dirty very quickly. After about 40 rounds of Winchester ammo, I could only fire 1 round at a time because the gun would not cycle from all of the carbon. That will be the last time I use Winchester "suppressor" ammo through the gun.

Curious what type of ammo people use with the criteria being:
    -ammo must be subsonic
-ammo should run clean (I have a Ruger 22/45, which was purchased about 2 months before the push button takedown version came out. Am thinking of upgrading to that now)

If you have a 4" or less barrel standard velocity ammo is usually subsonic. I shoot bulk pack ammo out of my firefly (sig mosquito) without a sonic crack. I keep the subsonic stuff for my rifle. In those I use Winchester or Remington subsonic, I dont worry about plated bullets as I dont believe subsonic ammo leads the can like supers do

I'll echo CCI Standard. Runs great, shoots clean (for rimfire anyway).
    I just love shooting.

Like everyone else I agree, its most likely the best option if you don't want to do a bunch of experimentation with different brands.

For everyone recommending CCI Standard, are you shooting this through a suppressor? Standard comes with leaded vs plated bullets, and this makes a mess of the suppressor.

Why should it make a mess of the suppressor when the bullet does not make contact with the suppressor? 22lr in general will make a mess of your suppressor, from carbon.

I have my mask downstairs that I loaned out for a 22 kids gallery. The guy said they shot over a thousand rounds through it. It was remarkably clean for that amount
