Looking for experience

Hey friends. I'm looking for more experience with any level of gunsmithing/craftsmanship/machining I can get. I come from a background in education, and I am a teacher, but the more I work on my own guns/vehicle/living space, the more I enjoy and want to learn. As a teacher, I'm also not particularly well off.

Would anyone be interested in teaching/lending experience for a meal/drink/music/computer lesson? Mostly looking for gunsmithing, machining, or trade skills.

On this note I'll add that I have a Maximat V10-P lathe with mill that I would like to learn how to use. So...if anyone has any skills they would care to share I have a machine to donate to the cause.

We should talk about that. I'm not familiar with that machine- but I have a j head Bridgeport and a 36" gap bed lathe among other things in the shop.
I can show you around both machines to give you an idea of what they're capable of.

Good to hear from you both, thanks gents. Will respond to PM shortly. The lathe/mill is, I suppose, exactly what I'm looking for real life experience with. YouTube videos and reading only get me so far I think.
