Default I've Got This 37MM Round...

A friend of mine gave me this 37MM round, he was afraid of it LOL. It looks like it's a dud and otherwise still live. Model of 1916 is stamped in the bottom. What do yinz think of it? Is it a live dud, a reassembled unit, or what?

    Dear Amy,

A guy I know has a gun, and not just any gun, but a 37mm gun that fires exploding bullets...

it appears that it has been fired and refitted with de-milled projectile. Is the nose empty?

i think someone should work a hole into the side of the casing, maybe with an awl and see if it's got contents (probably doesn't) and then shine it all up and fix the tip, just the tip. since it looks a bit beat up.

or take it to the big 5-0 for them to safely dispose of it :P
got a bullet puller in 37mm? i usually skip pulling and just use a hand file at the base of the bullet to soften the brass and pop em out with pliers, i crazy and don't plan on saving duds/brass only the powder.
There is no way to make it out alive...
