Re: Cops use Narcan to revive man... he start shooting once revived.
Addiction is a choice of the weak-minded. They deserve death! If I saw anyone OD'ing , I'd just walk on by.
I don't speak English , I talk American!

I've seen you use this argument before many times. It's apples and oranges. People with measles, heart disease, ear infections, lung issues, etc are not out robbing, shooting, stabbing, stealing from others because of their condition or because they did or not take an associated medication. When someone gets revived with CPR after a Cheetos binge and jumps up and starts shooting everyone or some slob holds someone at knife point to steal their case of Snickers, then it might warrant a closer look. Until then lets stop with the whole we gotta shut the whole medical system down just because violent drug addicts can't be enabled to do more destructive behavior.

Re: Cops use Narcan to revive man... he start shooting once revived.
About two months ago, one of the locals here was revived three times over the course of 2 days.
He was pissed that the Narcan ruined his high.
Three times in two days.
What is the magic number when the EMT's can call it ?God Bless the American Armed Forces, Thank You All.

Instead of poor Sally, you trot out veterans. It isn't settled science that trauma for example is a leading cause. I've read the abstracts that point to a predisposition to addiction as a likely dominant cause for eventual prescription opioid abuse - ie, it would be something else if not the prescription - but if it makes you feel better to use vets to try to tug at taxpayer heartstrings, go for it.
