It's not deflecting what he does and says. It's trying to keep allies seeing the bigger picture. Too many want to see him defeated because he's not pure enough. It's extremely short-sighted. There are far more positives for us than negatives with a Trump 2nd term.

It's a false dichotomy. I can be focused on the election and be critical of the fact that Trump is a NY liberal anti gunner at the same time.

And I disagree, he needed no outcry to take action against thing he "I don't like those."

Why is it false? You guys are worried about suppressors and bumpstocks.

I see a much greater danger than 2A issues.

I hope your right. I agree there is no other option in 2020.I also hope that in the future he either remains silent on siliceners or better yet changes his mind on his stated intentions. However I hope he doesn't turn into a Mike Toomey or for those of us that are old enough to remember a G H Bush after he implemented is importation ban where we have to hold our nose to vote for him.

It's a false dichotomy, or false dilemma. It's a fallacy to suggest that you have to worry about one thing or the other. I can worry about all of those. Some of you keep equating criticizing the liar with support for someone else.

This was the biggest lie of 2016. The gross irony is that gun rights mostly expanded in the previous 8 years, while they're mostly retracting under this administration.
