Here's the thing you seem to forget, or maybe you just don't get it.
The percentage of people in this country who own suppressors or bump stocks is probably lower than .25%. The number of voters who actually give a shit about bump stocks or suppressors is probably no more than 5%.
You and your 500000ish bump stock, suppressor friends across the nation did not get Trump elected, trust me. If he wants to get reelected he needs to play to a wider group than YOU. Sorry, that's just math.
Unfortunately I think most of the voting population doesn't know or care what a bump stock or suppressor is, they just want to see something done about people getting killed even if they don't understand what it is. Try to explain what a bump stock is to someone who is not a semi auto rifle person. Trust me, they get this glazed over look and ultimately they ask "why". Hell, I own semi auto rifles and I don't understand "why", it's a plastic toy is used to play soldier.
We aren't going to win this when 95% of the population doesn't even understand what these things are.

It's more like you being on a ship that has a few leaks and you are so worried and obsessed with those leaks you don't see the rocks your about to run into and the whole ship goes down.

Focus on the things we need to do to keep the ship afloat and not wrecking on the rocks stop worrying about the tiny leaks. People voting for guys like Biden or Buttplug etc... is going to put us on the rocks. So if I'm understanding the Trumptrain brain trust, I should ignore the lost freedom caused by the bump stock EO and confiscation because it was no big deal. I should also ignore any future suppressor (and FA?) bans because they won't affect many people. It's okay though, because we still have the things that matter to the majority.

Along those lines, maybe we should just give up semi auto too, because we don't want to risk losing bolt action rifles and revolvers. Truth is, most gun owners would be fine with a hunting rifle, revolver, and pump shotgun and we only seem to care about what the majority wants around here.

Well an argument can be made that the 2A upholds all the other rights, and I firmly believe that. However, I don't think Trump will actually DO anything to reduce our rights. He may say some stupid stuff, but I doubt he will actually do anything. Yes, I may be wrong, but I think it is a good bet.
