PA HB 768: DETAILS, MEET DEVIL Been posted yet?
"First, the bill requires mere private citizens to register every firearm other than some antiques. That’s bad enough."
"And should they deny your application, you’ll have a mere ten days to get a lawyer and file an appeal. If you lose, you’ll have to dispose of the firearm(s) you naively told them you have. That’s another devilish detail; there is only one legal way to do so: Turn it over to the State Police. No compensation. You can’t sell it, or move it out of state."
Tell me this has no chance of passing?

Consider the fact that some of these red flag bills have been introduced by "republicans" there absolutely is a chance of passage. Calls to legislators must be made, emails and letters are ignored as I know first hand.

Here’s my thoughts on this.
If everyone would band together and not register there firearms if this goes through.
They cannot do anything to us. Because we banded together.
I will not comply!

I will never register any of my tools. I won't pay a fee or carry liability insurance. I won't do anything which further restricts my rights. If anything, I will defy any and all laws which are deemed to be intrusive, unconstitutional, and infringe on my way of life. That is my red line in the sand...suck it!

They might have been registered when you first bought them, especially rifles and shotguns...but they could have been sold off long ago. Pistols are a different story. Paper trail is there, unless, of course, someone steals them...

The masses didn't line up in NY or CT when "assault" rifles required being registered or turned in so I don't expect to many to line up here or anywhere else either.
How many bump stocks were reported turned in across the nation for destruction?
Last I heard it was zero.Join the GOA & save $5.00. https://www.gunowners.org/mac-subs-join-goa.htm

Oh , I will stand partially corrected as you do have a point certainly.
My thoughts were of both NY and Cali which they are still lining up to this day.
But I love the bump stock comment ..... you have a point there.
Although I still say my money says there will be lines.
But you've given me hope
