This is why I am not buying it. It’s a bit of a ride to chambersburg for me.

There aren't a lot of guns come up for sale in this area. The used guns I've bought, I've had to travel for. I don't like to undercut people, I'll pay a fair price, but I always end up telling the seller that because I have to travel, I'm just not prepared top pay full market value. I know it's not the sellers fault that I have to travel, but it's not my fault either. I'm sure I've had more than a couple people get pissed that I set a limit at $30 less than what the gun should go for but considering it may take a day of travel, $20-$30 gas, and the unknowns, it's just the way it is.
Anyway, I think your price is fair, but understand, for people who have to travel, just expect they may not want to pay the full asking price.

Lots of L-frame .357s are available. K-frame .357s are getting scarce.

    Adios,

I think the price is good.
Posting on a S&W forum is good advice.

This forum has rules, no swearing, insulting, political ranting, etc. It is all about the guns.
Classified has rules also. Good folks here, peruse the classified to see what others are asking for their M-66. (stainless version of M-19).

    Revolvers are "old people" guns.

Maybe type up a flyer (use a large font size) and thumb tack it to the bulletin board at an assisted living facility?

I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Thanks for the advice, but I do have pictures of fun and accessories. Were you not able to view them?

I believe I contacted you about this revolver a few weeks ago.

As a S&W revolver collector, it needs to have the correct, numbered box and accessories with it, to command top price.

As has been stated here, the firearm market is soft now, and unfortunately for you, you are asking far too much for what you have.

    Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your input. I guess there is always differences of opinion on values. I had one gentleman tell me I was asking too little, that he just paid $680 for a 66-2. However, I had already sold the gun for $520.00, and was content. The fellow that bought it wanted ashooter, and didn’t care that it wasn’t the correct box. Win a few, lose a few. I recently bought a MINT FEG HiPower for $250.00.

    You're welcome.

As P.T. Barnum said "There's a sucker born every minute", for which you are lucky.

Firearms sales are soft these days, and I get people wanting to get "top dollar" for what they have, but far too many ask way too much for what they have, when they do NOT have "top quality".

As to the Mint FEG HiPower (and as to if it's a good deal, depends entirely on which version it is. Do you know, if not I suggest you research the FEG HiPowers a bit more), the price accurately reflects the "soft market" of firearms now.
