What is a temp DL about? I have a CDL on my license, will that hold things up?

When you first get your license in PA, they'll give you a temporary one at the DMV. I guess they do some verification stuff while you have it. Once they're done with their processes, you'll get your real license in the mail.

Like I said, your temporary one should be enough to give to a shop for ID purposes, but some will turn you down.

I moved here 6 years ago this coming June 5th and also had a CDL, there won't be any issues with your DL temp or permanent.Once you get your DL you can buy firearms like a normal human being unlike NJ. As far as the LTCF I feel like I had to wait 90 days before I could apply for it but that may just be something with our outgoing Sheriff. A lot has changed with the way he did things more recently so that may have changed. Check out the county web site for all the LTCF info and to download the application.I'm also in Monroe County not far from Saylorsburg, welcome to the area.
