Gunbroker what if question.
Admittedly a little far fetched but what if.......I win an auction an auction on gunbroker then pay for the gun, shipping and even insure the package. Say it tracks successfully to the FFL of my choice but before I show up to put it in my name it disappears. Lost, stolen or whatever. Say the shop even calls me to say it’s there thus verifying they received the package. Who would technically absorb the loss. My gut instinct would be the shop but I bet it wouldn’t go pleasantly.
I swear this didn’t happen to me but I’m thinking about bidding on a higher end item and all kinds of possibilities are crossing my mind.
Thanks for any input, Brian.DDG-8 "Sine Timore"

Relax. I paid a ridiculous amount of money on GB for a first gen naa ranger. I was twisted up too but it all worked out fine. Did another deal for a colt detective special. That went fine all so.
It would be entered into his book so he'd have the problem. The tracking would be proof.
Good luck. I smell python. The Gun is the Badge of a Free Man

I would say the shop, in that situation. It's a little stressful knowing usps is handling your expensive item, but expensive things get shipped every day, with little error.
