I have a Century L1A1, bought it cheap on a whim? I didn’t know much about Century but this seems to one of the better ones.
Shoots well and never an issue, hard to find mags though.

Does you'rs take inch or metric mags? They are almost always for sale on the FALFILES. I have dozens of each, but consider myself to be under prepared in the magazine area due to the amount of riFAL's I have.
I would LOVE to see a pic of the markings on your upper receiver. Some of their receivers are notoriously bad others are very good depending on who made them. For example, I had one years ago that the serial # prefix was NC. I found out that those were made by North Country machine & tool [at least I think that was the name] and those receivers were made right, I never had a failure with that rifle. The CA prefix is supposedly Caspian Arms, those are also good to go. Then there are Marked & un-marked Imbel's & some Argy's that unless you know what you're looking for you wouldn't know that you were looking at a diamond in the rough.

Sorry, I meant to respond earlier.
No, not looking to take back Rhodesia, I just LOVE the FAL & it's varient's.
I found one today in Delaware, coincidentally it is a Rhodie clone!!! I just couldn't help myself, I had to buy it.
I think I'll wind up with just over 20 FAL's if I can find all of the different one's I want along with building the kit's I currently have.
It's a shame that nobody makes a decent inch receiver, DSA keeps promising to do another run but who the heck know's when that will happen & if it does will they be in spec?
The new batch of Izzy receivers seem to be good to go so I am keeping my fingers crossed. The inch pattern rifles are my favorites.
Here is a pic of the new Rhodie
