I was talking with EM about the potential of having a February shoot. The gap between October and April seems so long. What do you guys think?

Also, talking to Cindy about the compressed time we have to get things done especially with the side shoots. One of the most enjoyable things about the central Pa shoot is not feeling rushed. When we book these shoots as far as we know it's ours for the day. What do you guys think about extending the shoots to 3? Naturally nobody has to stay until then but it would be nice for those who would like to.

sounds good to me..plus some people can't always make it by 9:30 / 10 so even if you show up around 12..you would still have some time to do some shooting

I see some potential in that. I could have the range safety rules printed up and just have people read and sign off on it prior to shooting,

Not sure on the burn barrel. EM could possibly answer that since he was around when they did winter shoots. And yes, I can think about six guys or so that tend to linger on now as it is. Plus many of us are members and as such we are aloud to have guests so nobody can really say no. The plane truth is that at this last shoot we were packing up about the time I was starting to relax and enjoy myself.

I don't want to go every month but I'd be fine with every other month. I'd want to avoid a December shoot. Perhaps January, March, May, July, September, November schedule? Thoughts?

July might be an issue with the central group shoot..? and November your dealing with Thanksgiving.

just something to think about..

what about just adding a February shoot and longer hours on the rest of the shoot?
dosen't really matter all that much to me..I'll do my best to make them no matter when you choose have them..
