Re: Wise Me Up on .45 Por Favor
S&B and Geco is some of the cleanest and most accurate .45 ammo. It's also some of the cheapest.
$250/1,000 rounds right about now.
Never had a problem with Blazer Brass either.

I use 200 grn cast lead bullets from DucatiRon's Steel Valley Casting for practice, 230 grn for carry. I like Bullseye powder.

Re: Wise Me Up on .45 Por Favor
I have s Dillion 550 and its a great unit. Reload SPP and LPP no problem changing primer bar. The big difference I see in SPP and LPP is that most guys give me back my SPP brass. Ammo prices are down. If you look brass ammo can be had for around $.30/round shipped delivered to my front door. I use primarily Titegroup but have used Clays and 700X. Titegroup meters very well and loads dont vary more that 0.1 grain in my Dillion. Use X-treme 230 TMJ. I have good luck with them. Targetsportusa.com is good place to buy from. One thing for sure with the 45ACP you have a million choices of guns, ammo, powder and bullets.

Re: Wise Me Up on .45 Por Favor
Ain't tough to tell them apart. Me, I never bothered with small primer rounds. If I saw them I gave them to others.
I would be concerned about load development. I do not know enough about whether a load developed for large primer would be different for small primer. I would not take the chance without developing one for each size of primer. If they turn out to the same, fine.

Re: Wise Me Up on .45 Por Favor
I was looking around and it seems that most .45 are LPP and I didn't see any CCI .45 if it was there. I scored a box (500) of Remington UMC for $140 OTD. That and S&B are all over the place within about $5 of each other. I just opted to go with the Remington because it's made in USA #MAGA.
