On the surface, he seems like an intelligent dude, and his testing methods appear legit.
I'm no tester with impeciable credentials but I've watched a lot of reviews and slept at a Holiday Inn many years ago.

    There are 2 Lehigh bullet calibers I'm sold on- .380acp & .300BLK

There may be a lot of bullets for seating in .300 but very few of them were designed for it.

I believe I also heard the guy say something about a reasonably priced training load with the same bullet weight and powder charge. If so, that would be a definite benefit, IMO. I'm not one of those guys who thinks there's no difference in training with a weaker target load.

This guy follows all the same protocols and specs that the FBI as well as professional ballistic guy's do who work for the manufactures.
Honestly, Mac's praise for the round is another reason I'm leary. Just my opinion, but that guy is a shill if there ever was one.

Sticking with my 5050 rounds of 147gr HST. I don't post the round count to brag, per se, but to make the point that there's no way I'd divest myself of such a stockpile of ammo to switch to another.

He's 100% viewer funded and takes no money from anyone but okay.
He praised the round which was loaded by one of the other boutiques who uses Leigh defense bullets so it's not like he was shilling for Leigh Defense.

I feel the same way and only have 500 rounds of HST on hand.

This. I happily carry a .380 with extreme penetrators when hiking/backpacking. Not sure who's claiming snake oil, but they're not from what I've seen.

It's ok everybody...I wasn't trying to convert anybody, just thought it might help someone undecided, and I tend to think that both are great choices

I recall when IV8888 used to claim that as well.
