"Pistol" lower.

I am pretty sure I know the answer, I just want to confirm with yinz.

I bought a Sig "hybrid" MCX pistol, in order to cannibalize the 9" 300blk upper to use on my SBR. The upper came on a Sig M400 lower with pistol brace. It was sold as a pistol.

Now that I have my stamps, I put the upper on my newly register and engraved real MCX lower, so I don't need the Sig M400 lower with pistol brace for anything.


My questions;


When I go to sell, I should list it as an M400 "pistol," correct?

Also, someone CAN make a rifle out of it, correct?
