I Need to Get Printed for Utah CCP

I have to open up by saying how difficult it is to get anything done these days.

Now...I took a Utah course in which the course, prints and pics were a la cart and the fingerprint guy was unable to attend so I need to get printed. I have the cards and need to get them filled in. I thought I heard the instructor say that we could do them ourselves but I might have misundertsood as there is a blank on the cards for the official taking the prints to sign.

1) Can I do them myself (with a little help from a friend) or do they have to be done 'officially'?
2) Where could I get them done?

I suppose that I could return to the next class just for that purpose if necessary.

I think my son got his done at the State Police barracks. That was in Butler County - not sure if it works similarly in Berks. Might be worth a phone call anyway.

I recently had mine done at a nearby PPP station. No charge. Check times before going. No guns allowed beyond the waiting room.

Anyone can do them, so long as they are done correctly. Paying at a location that does them frequently probably increases the chances of not having to have them redone, even though it's technically not a requirement

Guys at the bunker gun shop did mine for purchase there. Could call them. They were great down to earth people.

Sure is, I was running that through my head while I was out mowing the lawn too, it's not a good reflection on the class sponsor. OTH I liked the guy who gave the course, he wasn't high on testosterone like they can be.

I just went to the Berks County Sheriff's office for my NFA print cards because I don't want to take any chances. $25. Office for payment is open I believe 8AM to 4PM. Then you take your receipt to central booking in the basement, which is open 24/7. They take electronic prints, then print them out on the cards, and sign them. I went around 3:30 on a weekday and was out within an hour, though a deputy acquaintance of mine told me the early morning is probably best.

Had mine done at a PSP Barracks for Virginia permit.
