    Default Strengthen 2A Preemption Petition

Please sign our (2nd Amendment Committee of the Lehigh Valley Tea Party) petition to support strengthening preemption bills SB531 & HB1066.

Other organizations have similar petitions, but we actually visit key lawmakers with data from their constituents, and the overall summary.

When you sign, we send an email to your state House Rep, Senator, the House Majority Leader and the Senate Majority Leader. As stated above, we then go visit key lawmakers.

It is very important if your Rep and/or Senator is a D and you live in a pro-gun area. These are vulnerable D's and we need them to vote 'yes' in order to save their jobs. Getting this into law requires a veto-proof majority.

PS: the petition requires a valid cell phone number. The purpose is to confirm the signer's identity so that we don't have petitions signed by anonymous people, or people named "democrats can kiss my a$$".

Shame we need a law---to enforce a law.

Murder for instance-----perhaps another law stating murder is illegal is needed.............................

That's not really an accurate comparison. The original law has no special definition regarding who has standing in court, which means the default definition of 'someone who has been issued a citation' applies. The D's came up with a loophole. They choose to *not* issue citations. That way no one can sue, but the law stays on the books.

This bill 'fixes' that loophole. Fixing current law happens every day, in every state, in the country.

BTW: a more accurate comparison would be if only murdered people could sue for murder. :-)
