    I bought mine new in 91 or 92 and held on to it until 2017 (so over 25 years). I took it to the range occasionally but always had other guns I carried. It certainly wasn't easy parting with it, I probably would've kept it if it had a rail on it.

    You won't be happy with it after you pinch the heel of your hand between the frame and the magazine doing a fast reload! I suggest you save your money and get the G19 hybrid with the G17 size frame (G19X?). Your hand will thank you for it, at leasy as long as its a shooting piece and not an "investment".
