Default Help me identify a long AK-type gas tube Please

Grabbed this a few years ago at a gun show. Kind of re-discovered it lurking in a parts box. 'net search unproductive.

Overall length 10-13/16" (27.5mm). Upper hand guard length 6 inches (15.5mm). Forward portion of tube ahead of hand guard bezel 4 inches(10.5mm). Thanx in advance.

    Another possible clue...it's stamped L1780

    Got a picture?

Hard to say without seeing it but it could be an SKS gas tube.

I have a Yugo w/folding bayonet and grenade sight. This tube is about an inch too long for it.

Discovered seems that all SKS tubes are round in cross-section. This tube is fluted for almost half the length. Sorry, haven't conquered pics yet.

Damned if I can get the next photo to work. :-(

    I'll look up FPK/PSL thanks :-)

I think that's probably the answer. Thanks again! That photo including the yellow tape is spot on.

If anyone could use one, I have no need for it.
