It passed the Game and Fisheries committee with an 8-3 vote back in Feb. and is now residing in the appropriations committee. The votes are certainly there to get it moving out of appropriations and in the full Senate to get this bill over to the House of Reps. Seems like Republican leadership is seeing what they can do to get enough Rep Votes to get the Bill through regardless of Dem support, even though there is plenty of Dem support for this bill.

As much as I enjoy hunting, I enjoy riding recreational toys. I will not be giving them up throughout hunting season. I don't ride any day but Sunday, and it will stay that way regardless.

Bob Mensch. He was one of the 3 No votes in February and we chatted about my disappointment in that. Since then while emailing him about 147 it seems he may have come around, perhaps due to the revisions around trespassing.

I'm confused. Do you mean you only ride Sundays out of respect for hunters and if this passes you'll still do that because you need at least one day to ride?

If so I don't blame you. Besides, scaring an animal away from a hunter is just as likely as scaring an animal towards a hunter I would think.

Thank you for the 147 emails to Mensch...could be any number of reasons he has come around. I hope you are correct and he is now a yes vote. PLease contact Senator Browne and Corman. The are VERY important in the Senate Majority Leadership and your 147 additional e-mails would be very helpful. Seriously thanks for taking the time to contact your Senators.
