I realize there is this big push to legalize pot and all but I think that some concessions ought to be made for those of us who do not indulge in the drug.Public smoking of it should not be allowed.

There are lots of things that are "legal" and don't affect others, yet participating in them in public view is either regulated or prohibited altogether. Alcohol is on that list, as is one of the most basic and necessary biological imperatives known to man. That might be a good thing. But as always, someone, somewhere will disagree.

In Philadelphia you can't drink alcohol in public. I'm pretty certain most towns have laws against drinking in public too. Why would it be OK for pot heads be able to to be potheads in public? If you like being a pothead do it at home. It's too hard to watch stupid out in public.

I just got back from vaca out west that included a couple days in Vegas. The land of degenerates. What a freak show. It's legal there so the whole strip smells like weed. Makes me sick to my stomach. And this is coming from someone who smoked a lot of pot in his younger days....but it didn't smell like skunk.

To quote Thomas Jefferson, it neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg. As long as I don't have to smell it or support your lazy apathetic ass, knock yourself out.
