As others have said, be sure you are buying hollow ground bits not the tapered ones.

The proper screwdriver will save you from nasty screw slots and scratched guns. Cheap screwdrivers are cheap because of shitty steels and no heat treating or improper heat treat. How much factory ammunition will $130 buy? How long does it take to shoot it?

Okay, fair enough however why so many handle choices? Hollow, clip tip, law enforcement?

Oh would you loug-id dat! I knew my set was an Amazon Basics "brand" and I never thought it would be selling under a different name on ebay, so I didn't click. (Not that I thought Amazon made it themselves:) This hollow ground applies to the slot heads only? If so they are.
These are no Snap-on tools, but for my use, they get it done.

OP - exact same scenario - got the Fat Wrench and needed a bit that wasn't included. Headed to Harbor Freight and bought the same set of bits you did. Kindred spirits??

Mostly personal preference but some based upon circumstance. I have both the hollow handle and the law enforcement handles. The hollow handle is handy for keeping a basic set of bits in my range bag. The law enforcement handle is my preference for bench work. Both of those are magnetic. I'm considering switching to the clip tip because sometimes the magnetic tip is difficult to control when it is a close fit in the slot (as it should be) and could risk a scratch on an expensive piece.
