As far as notifying the officer, especially in Ohio..
I have made it a habit to notify them no matter what. It seems to be the best practice. I would hate to lean over and uncover a concealed weapon in front of an unsuspecting officer. Not sure if this is a good habit, or not. I just don't feel like being shot. My run in's with LEO is slim to none, so I am not highly experienced with this.
Ohio has a duty to inform immediately upon first official contact.
Generally speaking, it is best to keep the gun out of the conversation unless required upon contact or required when asked.
The experience and temperament of officers can vary greatly, and mentioning the gun when not required may cause unnecessary tension or even dangerous handling.
Best to know the law and follow it, and keep your mouth shut when legal to do so.

Some states also have odd laws when it comes to cars, like Delaware for example.

Personally I like this publication, but there are others out there.
The download costs $15 and it is worth every penny.

Irrespective of that specific incident in the video.
You never know what you're going to get during an armed traffic stop.

If you are in a notify upon first official contact state, I strongly recommend handing your LTCF to the officer at the same time you hand over your license.
It is also not a bad idea to carry current printed copies of your 2A travel guide specific to the states you will be traveling in.

Your best defense is to know the law, be polite and professional at all times, be compliant, and do not be combative.
The side of the road is not the time to argue your case if the officer is clearly irate and disinterested.

I also strongly recommend getting USCCA or similar insurance coverage https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/

Most of us have dash cams to record traffic incidents including traffic stops.
Make sure your dash cam can continue to record even after the car is turned off.
A secondary dash cam that records the vehicle cabin is also advisable.

On the road - bad reception. Re PA law (only ) others I do not know
Having a firearm (handgun)’loaded or unloaded is acceptable under only a few exceptions - as stated in pa firearm laws - I am. Long guns never loaded- no exceptions
Not sure if these are all. I am not a lawyer ....To a range and back no stops - gun store to sell or fix (no stops)- gun class -(no stops) shooting range (no stops) Cannot drive around with a gun just to go To Walmart for example. Concealed means in the vehicle not in the open as open carry on foot. You cannot just carry an unloaded gun thinking it’s ok without a ltcf.
    .
Regardless of loaded /unloaded Then there are transport laws from one abode to another ie summer home The books are free at various state reps offices
