A firearm in or on a vehicle is nothing more than a firearm in or on a vehicle. Concealed or unconcealed has nothing to do with it.

This is what I've come to learn.
It doesn't matter what you call it, if you wanna carry a pistol loaded on yourself or on your seat, you HAVE to have a LTCF.

I do understand the premise of being concealed in a vehicle, because it isn't actively visible.

Definitely good arguements and points in this thread though.

If it's sitting on your dashboard it is definitely not concealed, but it is in your vehicle.

We're arguing oranges and tangerines here - both closely related, but different.

It's not concealed if it's in your glove box either - it's just in your glove box.
Being visible or not has absolutely no bearing on anything in regards to transporting a firearm.

EDIT: It's a License to CARRY Firearms - not a License to Conceal Firearms - although you DO need a LTCF in order to carry concealed.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

To the OP. Here is an perfect example of how the law is taken differently by members of the firearm community - we all believe our answer is right but we all cannot be. Take this thread with a grain of salt (-:
Why are you still arguing with someone who quoted the actual law?

And that quote of the law was from here, https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs...&div=0&chpt=61

which is no different than what your state representative will hand out in booklet form.
