LOL! When I first started carrying on my ankle, I would clunk it into the rocker panel/door sill when getting into the car because the added weight/bulk altered the way I swung my leg when getting in the car.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I am going to disagree with you on proper ankle holster carry - obviously it is what is comfortable for you and easy draw. I am right handed and draw down easiest to my left leg inside ankle. Never a problem never a boo boo - absolutely perfect for me. Been doing this for many years.

I've ankle carried daily for ten years or so, on the inside.

I use a Galco fairly often when I can't carry something larger:

Been using it for over 2 years and at times for >10 hours straight... No complaints from me!

I will say if your comfortable with inside the ankle and it works well for you when practicing drawing from said holster then go for it.I can recall specifically the reasons from Police Academy Training and made sense enough that I CC on ankle in addition to sidearm for over 25 OTJ.And now mostly when weather dictates or the a suit I may be wearing !

My training suggested holster placement inside the "weak" leg to better secure the weapon, protect it from hitting objects if it was placed on the outside of leg, and allowing better use of the "strong" leg if you want to kick something. Never a question in my mind !
