Re: Being Careful What We Say To New Members
If a would-be mass killer posted on PAFOA and obtained hints about where to get guns without a background check, I'd be concerned.
But she asked about the laws. She asked about lawful conduct. The laws are SUPPOSED to be available to every person bound by them, the fact that we increasingly need to ask experts about the rules that bind us, is a failure of government.
We aren't supposed to be doing performance art of Kafka's "The Trial", where the laws are a mystery and we all live in dread of being arrested by SWAT like Roger Stone over behavior which didn't seem criminal. We're supposed to know where the boundaries are. Breaking the law is not supposed to be a surprise to the perp.
I assume that Bernie Madoff received some training in securities and investments, before he ripped off many people for billions of dollars. Do we hold those schools accountable for aiding and abetting his pyramid scheme?
Focus on those who provide tactical training, if you want to zero in on potential killers. Teaching fast mag changes is far more useful to a mass shooter than telling them the limits of lawful conduct, because they'll want to be able to change mags fast, but they aren't interested in keeping their behavior legal. And start at the Police Academy, because cops make more lethal mistakes per capita than armed citizens.
Or skip all that, and just hold people accountable for what they do, starting young. Teaching every street rat that he/she has unlimited rights, and is entitled to respect just for being born, and society is obliged to meet all her material needs but she has no personal accountability for her "youthful mistakes", is a recipe for building a sociopath.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

I've never read anyone here instructing someone how to circumvent the law even though there have been some who have asked questions in a multitude of ways how to circumvent the lawsEcclesiastes 10:2 ...........
