Re: Blood test for Lead Levels?
I find it alarming that many shooters don’t think it’s important enough to have their lead levels checked periodically - the damage from lead to the organs can be life changing - a simple blood test ! Yet many think it’s overkill

I had a guy with Prius say that he had nickle cadmium poisoning, and we had to fix it.
Over tbe the years, I have worked on a few cars who's owners were certifiably insane.
Lead isn't quite the toxic hazard that it's made out to be. Unless you're inhaling large quantities of dust, or fumes from melting it, it's not really that dangerous.
I think as long you're not munching on old paint chips like Pringles, or using fishing weights for suppositories, you'll probably be ok.

Re: Blood test for Lead Levels?
During my time as a firearms instructor at my PD I had my lead level tested along with hearing tests.
My wife taught firearms classes at a private range in WA, they also asked & paid for her to have her lead levels tested and hearing tests done.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

DEKA battery plant is close enough here that I have met several people who work(ed) there over the years. They all get tested on a regular basis and rotated around the plant in and out of the high lead areas. I'm sure it's not good for adults but I
always thought that most of its affects were developmental.Gender confusion is a mental illness
