Default Any body got a trigger pull gauge to lend for a week or so?

I want to get a before and after reading. I'm installing Wolff springs in a Ruger M77 and a SP101.

Use a simple fish pound scale. The problem with that, and it’s easy to overcome, is it doesn’t record the breaking point, and if you aren’t watching closely, you will miss it. Solution: videotape the scale as you focus on a smooth trigger pull. Then go back and read the video. Use your phone for the clearest video.

Get a metal rod and bend one end 90 degrees to place on trigger. Attach other end to a small bucket. Hold the rifle muzzle up and pour water in the bucket till the trigger snaps. Adjust the amount of water and repeat a few times to be sure. Then weigh the bucket and rod.

This is similar to the way the military checked trigger pulls. Except they used multiple calibrated lead weights on a holder with a known weight.

I have a digital Lyman that will average 5 pulls if you still need one. I plan to get out and fish this weekend so I'll be out and about.

Thanx, the Rapala digital fish scale seems to work good enough, but I might try yours to verify. I'm over on the east side, near TA truckstop, Harborcreek.
