Slippery Rock University College Republicans are hosting a Pennsylvania Campus Carry Reform Rally that will be held on Saturday, April 13 and will start at 3 pm. There will be multiple speakers including SRUCR President Brian McLaughlin, the Mayor of Slippery Rock Jondavid Longo, Kaitlin Bennett, and State Representative Aaron Bernstine. Representative Bernstine has a MAJOR announcement concerning PA campus carry during the event. A Q&A session will follow the speeches.

This event is highly likely to be protested. It is important to note that SRUCR will have NO tolerance for any hostility towards any protestor. Disruptive and/or hostile behavior may cause you to be removed from the event. YOU MAY NOT BRING A WEAPON; in doing so, you are in violation of school policy and may be subject to disciplinary action by the university, law enforcement, or both. This is a gathering in support of the Second Amendment, which includes the right for students to take control of their own security. Hope to see you there! The event is open to the public, so please bring family and friends. We will be meeting in the auditorium of the Advanced Technology and Science building! Contact us with any questions!
