About as much sense as thinking polymer framed firearms haven't proven themselves to be just as if not more reliable then their steel framed counterparts.

S&W makes MIM parts for other industries. They've been making transmission gears for Harley Davidson using MIM for over 20yrs.

.00005 could also be called, five one hundred thousands of an inch. I believe. Working with S&W 17-4 MIM parts now.
