What's on Your List?

I'd love to be able to buy every damned gun I see. (cough! cruzans cough!)
Hell, I'd love to buy just a few guns that I really want, but the reality is that I'm pretty limited in what I can afford. I'll likely never own a Tavor, or an authentic WWII Garand, or a CZ Bren 2, or a host of other guns I've wanted over the years.

I usually focus my attention on buying things that are practical. Over the last several years, I've sold off a few guns that I didn't want to sell, but since they were less practical, I chose them first when needing money for bills and such.
I've gotten to the point where I have most everything I "need", but there are still a few "wants" on my list that I consider practical and affordable.


A few things I'd still ike to own that aren't completely out of reach financially.

Extar EP9 - I'd prefer a Colt pattern AR15 pistol in 9mm, but the economics of a $420 9mm "SBR" are impossible to ignore.

Ruger PC carbine 9mm - I love my Marlin Camp 9 and always wanted the original Ruger carbine, but the new one is REALLY calling my name.

7.62x39 AR15 pistol - This one could end up being a bit more money than I like to spend, but the ability to buy it "a piece at a time" makes it something doable - it's the reason I have all of my AR15s.

CZ Scorpion - Still on my want list, but lower down due to cost. It's not completely out of reach, but would require saving up money.

I'll probably think of more, but those three are on my "short term" list.


Also want to get accessories - like a Choate folding stock for my Camp 9.
Oh boy... so many accessories...

Maybe another AR while they are still pretty cheap..speaking of AR's I have finally warmed up to the pistols and saw a few in the classifieds that I wouldn't mind.

Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine seems likely. Also very much leaning towards a Bisely Blackhawk in .454 casull.

Kel-tec Sub 2000" Glock 9mm

and maybe a Sig 365

Possibly a national match M1A.

Other than those I probably have everything I want.



Of course there is always the dream stuff, full auto thomoson, m2 etc....

I've reached a point well beyond "need" and the justification is too overwhelming to overcome when too many other projects linger. I now try and focus on accessories like optics & such
